Recently, The company I work for, The Iona Group, finished up work on a new web shiny for Tyson called Improv-o-gram. In essence, it lets you create an e-card to send to someone. No big deal, right? These things are all over the place!
Well, here’s the twist, instead of the usual Flash animation, this uses real actors! Using technology created by Oddcast to create Monk-e-Mail, you can use text, record with your computer’s microphone or call in using a telephone and send a personal message to someone.
I was the DP on the project. We shot 12½ hours of green screen footage during a 5 day shoot. Post was taking place in the next room. We ended up with around 155 minutes of finished footage. That means we shot and posted a 2½ hour feature in less than a week! A long but fun week.

Bug Fixes. Changed things so that Unicode full width colon is used in file names. Tasks without a Project no longer break. Tasks without a Context are listed as “Archived Task” for Context.

Well, I asked for this functionality to be added to iGTD. After waiting way too long, I taught myself some AppleScript and modified KGTD2Go. The result: iGTD2Go 1.0! It has the same functionality as KGTD2Go except for iGTD!
From the instructions:
iGTD2Go is designed to export your iGTD actions to a hierarchy of folders and text files so that you can take them with you on your iPod as iPod notes. You can alternately use it to export to any folder on any disk, if you don’t have an iPod or have other uses for this script.
iGTD2Go can even be set up to automatically synchronize your iGTD file every time your iPod (or other external disk) is attached to your Mac, through the use of a folder action on your Volumes folder.
It works with iGTD 1.4+ (so far).
Hope this helps a few people out. It has gotten me back on the GTD wagon!
